This is pretty much what it looked like outside ALL DAY yesterday! UGH!!! It's only Dec. 2
nd and I'm sick of the snow already. Well since I was going to be inside all day I decided to put up the tree. First I had to figure out how to
rearrange my furniture. Well I tried putting both rocking chairs next to each other with the end table between them, but
their wasn't enough room. So I spent the next like hour trying to decided if I move the chair or the end table. I decided to move the chair. Not a good choice. I tried to put it in the basement...but it wouldn't fit through the door. So I pushed it back up the stairs and rethought which piece of furniture would have to go. I
decided once again it should be the chair, so that Jay would have a table to set his drink and remote on. So in years past we've put the chair in
Kaira's room and that's were it's at right now. Of course she thinks it's great because she can pull all of the animals out of the pet net. Great. So after hours of thinking about and
actually moving furniture around I started putting up the tree.

This tree is like 9 years old! But it still looks pretty good. The
labels on the branches are coming off, so sometimes it's hard to make sure I've got the right branches on the correct level of the tree.

But I managed pretty good this year. Of course every year I for get how much easier it is to put the tree skirt on before I
build the tree , but oh well that's minor.

Every year I remember that the year before I had a hell of a time with the lights. And every year I swear I'm going to toss this tree and get a
pre-lit one. This year I spent at least and hour untangling the lights that I balled up and tossed in the bin last year. What was I thinking? So after untangling the lights I started stringing them only find that half of the strand was out. Great. So I ripped those off and grabbed a new strand. I got all the lights on and was
scratched up and
itchy when I was done. Now I'm trying to remember what I did with the strand of half working lights...oh they are probably back in the bin.
That'll be a nice surprise next season.

This is the finished product. Ahhh...all done. Now if I could just keep the kids and the cat away from it...Today's weather promises to be cold and snowy so I guess I'll work on cleaning the house and putting up more decorations.

I"m guessing you'd like a new header to match your sassy red background...I'm on it. Hopefully I'll have a copy of Adobe for you tomorrow. No promises on that.
